Overview of Changes: Class Names and Levels

Dear Yogis,

Maybe you’ve noticed some changes in our class names and levels. Allow us to explain:

Our Basic level classes offer the perfect foundation if you’re newer to yoga. You’ll learn and start experiencing the amazing benefits of a yoga practice. Poses are broken down and we use props and modifications, so you can start to feel the proper alignment of the basic yoga poses and experience the breath. Be kind to yourself and thoroughly enjoy your beginner’s mind. No rush! These classes are popular amongst beginners and reawakened yogis alike.

In the For All classes, everyone is welcome. In the more slow-paced classes, the teacher will have enough time to help beginners modify if needed. In the more dynamic classes, the teacher can sprinkle in a few more challenging poses. So those looking to expand their practice can try new things. These classes offer modifications so that you can customize your class to fit your specific needs and level.

More seasoned yogis get challenged and find deepening in our Experienced classes. Are you comfortable in the For All classes, and ready for a more robust flow? In experienced level classes you’ll progress through the poses more fluidly and have the opportunity to explore intermediate balances, inversions and backbends.

In a Self Practice class, you practice on your own under the personalized guidance of a teacher. The class is not led by the teacher. Flowing through a set sequence of poses allows you to work at your own pace and breath. This class is accessible for anyone who followed a few led classes and is familiar with the sequence.

Find out which styles suit you best by trying them all.

And if you’re having trouble finding a class, it’s probably under a different name. Below is a list of these name changes. We hope you find the answer you are looking for!
