Start: February 2026 | Yoga Alliance Registered
Deepen your flow. Refine your voice. Teach with purpose.
This training isn’t just about more poses or more knowledge. It’s about maturing as a teacher. About building confidence, clarity, and skill in a way that feels real—and relevant. The 300-Hour Advance Your Yoga Teacher Training is for teachers and dedicated practitioners who want to teach from a place of presence, depth, and lived experience.
This modular, in-person training is rooted in embodied Vinyasa, Hatha, and Prana Flow practices, combined with advanced studies in sequencing, anatomy, subtle energy, somatics, and personal development.
What Makes This Training Unique?
World-Class Faculty: Learn from a team of respected international and local teachers, including Doug Keller, Shiva Rea, Simon Rowe, Nele van Poucke, Hilary Brown, and Marianne van Wetter.

Here’s what truly sets the Advance Your Yoga program apart
Led by expert & world class trainers: Everyone of the trainers has decades of experience to share…who grew up on long hours of personal practice and apprenticeships—not just weekend certifications—so you learn from people who walk the talk.
In-person hours are the backbone: You spend the bulk of your training face-to-face, on the mat, getting live adjustments and real-time feedback. Online content is used to support—not replace—the lived experience.
A curated faculty, not a “grab-bag”: Instead of dozens of guest teachers with conflicting methods, you get a cohesive, well-sequenced curriculum designed around a shared philosophy of practice and teaching.
Built around the arc of a yogi’s growth: The course intentionally addresses the excitement and the challenges that every advancing teacher experiences—so you develop confidence systematically, not by trial-and-error.
Depth over breadth: Rather than skimming a hundred trendy techniques, you dive deeply into the essentials that matter: intelligent sequencing, functional anatomy, philosophy you can actually teach, and hands-on assists.
Community you can lean on: Because the cohort trains largely in person, you form strong peer and mentor relationships—your built-in support network for years to come.
Guided path of personal growth: Beyond the technical modules, you’ll explore communication & learning styles, strengths mapping, trust work, “walk of life” practice, and—most uniquely—a self-chosen creative project tied to your passion. This capstone project helps you carve out a specialization that can set you apart as a professional (yes, paid!) yogi going forward.
Bottom line: Advance Your Yoga is mentorship-driven and mat-rich, now with a structured personal-growth track that turns your inner insights into an outward professional edge

Influential
Did you know that Yoga Moves was instrumental in introducing Vinyasa (Prana) Flow Yoga to The Netherlands before anyone knew what it was? (with the help of Shiva Rea?)
For over 20+ years we have been instrumental in cultivating high level classes and hosting international trainers here. We have trained many of the top yoga teachers in The Netherlands.
Shiva Rea brought a unique blend of dance, science, music, and a deep understanding of the Krishnamacharya lineage to yoga, infusing it with a focus on movement as life and the flow of breath. She pioneered "prana vinyasa" yoga, a style that emphasizes energetic alignment, wave sequencing, and creative, spontaneous movement, often incorporating music and dance into her teachings.
Doug Kellers popularity as a teacher comes from his ability to deepen people's experience of yoga through clear, simple and direct instructions that are easy to practice and remember. And he does it with lightness and light. Check out Doug's wonderful books - full of easy to read but dense full of advanced concepts.
Yoga Moves is dedicated to giving our students the full deep experience that should be part of an integrated yet modern approach to yoga. We believe in live, in person training and also recognise that blended aspects of online learning support everyone. We have curated a very specific set of modules we believe will round out a teacher's knowledge base to a very high level. Our program is integrated and cultivated, and offers specific skills and experiences that will set you apart for years to come.
Whether you're drawn to full vinyasa flow, therapeutic yoga, hands-on adjustments, yoga philosophy, or creative sequencing—this training will meet you where you are and will help you grow to where you're called to go.

FAQ - Advance your Yoga (300-h) training
-
This Teacher Training is for anyone who has explored yoga in some depth through their own practice and most usually, have completed a 200-hour or equivelent teacher training. We assume you are practicing a form of Vinyasa yoga, most likely have started teaching yoga, and are hungry to learn more.
-
You can complete the training over 12–36 months, depending on your pace. Most students complete it in 18–24 months. Each module will run every 12-18 months, and electives can be taken at your own timing.
-
Yes, our core modules are taught live in person to ensure hands-on, embodied learning. Most modules also include online sessions for integration. Please note: one module is fully online.
-
You’ll choose 45+ hours from approved Yoga Moves workshops or trainings. You’ll get support in choosing the electives that match your interests or specialization path. Any of Yoga Moves trainings that have the Yoga Alliance: Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) hours can be included in your elective hours.
-
Yes. The full 300-hour program meets Yoga Alliance requirements for advanced training (RYT-500), as long as you already hold a 200-hour certificate from a recognised school. Note: we work with YogaAlliance.org (there are many copy cats!)
-
We ask you to prioritise your training days. We have a general rule: a student can miss no more than 10 training hours.
However, you need to pass each module individually, thus when you miss a day you miss a lot of that program.
What to do? You will need to arrange with that teacher how you can make up the hours/days you miss. Generally, you will need to pay for a private session with them, to make up the hours you missed.
If you cannot attend an online session, we can record it (we do not record the live sessions usually). You will need to watch it within 10 days and write a note (and send a review to the teacher) to let us know you completed the viewing.
If you cannot make a whole weekend module, you can wait until the next year or next time its offered to take that module. We cannot guarantee it will be the exact module next round or exactly when it will be.
Postponing a module has a €55 transfer fee. You will receive a non-passing status unless you make up those hours.
-
You’ll research (google, read, interview, etc) and design a class, workshop, or resource that reflects your personal path and interest as a teacher. It’s shared in the final weekend (or in another creative way) and helps bring your learning full circle.
Don’t worrry - we don’t expect a university research project…but will encourage you to be creative and stretch yourself professionally. -
We regularly hold teacher training information (Q&A) sessions at our studios; These are a great opportunity to meet some of the faculty, find out more about the trainings and ask any questions that you may have. If you have a more specific question feel free to ask our coordinator.
-
For Yoga Moves 300 hour Vinyasa Program: You will be getting manuals per module. You will need to get the following books:

This Student Discount offer will begin as soon as you are fully enrolled so you can take advantage of discounts on our classes and on workshops too. -
Each person is unique. We would like to discuss your situation with you and see what makes sense. Having said that, it is a dynamic practice, and this is not a "therapeutic yoga course" (even though we study therapeutic applications). We assume you are relatively healthy and able. If you and perhaps your doctor think it will be fine, we can more than likely accommodate you. However, pregnancy alone will not automatically give you more space to miss days etc.
