Marc Swillens
Marc Swillens started his spiritual journey during a time when questions raised up as: Who am I? Why am I here? What to do with my life? And what is there to learn? The exploring of the self, as he calls it. In the past years he followed workshops and joined gatherings and retreats to find answers to those questions. To find a conscious way of living for himself. Marc noticed from these years of experiences that singing helps him the most. Chanting mantras to be specific.
For the past six years, Marc has been practicing chanting on a daily basis. He hosted many circles, which only increased his love for chanting. He has organized and hosted events for groups between 4-150 people, and played alongside many other musicians. For him, chanting is like an active meditation which brings him closer to himself, while simultaneously grounding himself as well. It’s more than just singing, it’s a way of life.
While playing the harmonium, guitar and drums, he guides the group to connect with themselves. His wishes to guide the group into love, compassion and infinite space, connecting them to something bigger. And this something bigger can be different for everybody. With much love, passion and devotion Marc guides these chanting circles.
